The seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for the month of April declined by 0.1 percent from March. The non-seasonally adjusted inflation rate for the month of April increased by 0.2 percent from March. For the last 12 months, the rate of increase was 2.2%. The “Core Inflation” rate, which strips out food and energy, was unchanged for the month of April.
